Expectations for all Members, Attendees, Speakers, Mentors, and Sponsors

Triangle Design Systems builds and supports the local Raleigh + Durham + Chapel Hill community of design system professionals and enthusiasts. We share knowledge and help increase the awareness design systems.

We support and encourage diversity of all kinds from our members. Open dialogue is encouraged and all perspectives are appreciated.

Psychological and physical safety is important for all practitioners and anyone interested in learning more about design systems, and as such, we do not tolerate harassment or discrimination in any form, at any Triangle Design Systems event. We expect all members and participants to treat one another with respect.

Harassment includes offensive comments about gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability or disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event, including: talks, workshops, parties, meetups, online events, and web/social media posts.

If you experience or witness any of these forms of harassment, please inform any of the Triangle Design Systems event volunteers or Meetup Organizer. You can direct message the organizer on the meetup group page.

Any participant who violates these expectations will be asked to stop. Noncompliant participants can be expelled from the event without a refund. Triangle Design Systems organizers reserve the right to use their own discretion to sanction or expel anyone who violates these expectations.
